Get Em Out By Friday
TGIF! I hope you have the day off today to honor our Veterans. We are so fortunate because of their sacrifices. We can never really repay the debt they are owed but we can say thank you!
I am glad the work week is almost over. (I actually woke up this morning thinking it was Saturday-oops!). I am looking forward to spending the weekend getting some stuff on the “to do” list out-of-the-way, relaxing, and having some fun. The biggest thing I need to accomplish is to get organized. I have a bunch of stuff for the Goodwill and I just realized that it needs to go BEFORE the Christmas tree comes in, which is quickly approaching.
Here are some good stuff around the Internet that I came across this week.
If you are always looking for outfit inspiration like I am, you have to check out Wendy’s Lookbook. Girls in SF have such great style and can get away with so much more creativity then we DC girls can!
Speaking of Christmas, check out these great Etsy finds…
One of my favorite blogs Simply Irresistable has this great feature called “I Love My City” where she profiles one of her readers favorite aspects of their city. It’s like virtual travel…this week Boulder Colorado was profiled, so pretty!
I have been slacking on baking that involves pumpkin so far this Fall. These baked pumpkin spiced DONUT HOLES may just be the thing to get me out of this slump!
Speaking of Veterans Day…do you enjoy a good historical documentary? I am currently watching Ken Burn’s documentary “The War” about World War II on Netflix and I am hooked! Burn’s storytelling ability is unparalleled and I am fascinated by how different the world was 70 years ago. He has also produced documentary’s on Major League Baseball, Prohibition, and Jazz among other things. All are supposed to be amazing.
Lastly, make sure to check out the November/December issue of Lonny Magazine which came out this week.
Have a great weekend!
